First Investment Bank of Bulgaria - Guardian Angel

New Zealand Mint (NZM) has enjoyed a successful relationship of more than 5 years co-operation with the First Investment Bank of Bulgaria (FIB). NZM has custom made numerous projects and also utilises First Investment Bank of Bulgaria's network of clientele to sell its coins.

The most recent custom produced project for First Investment Bank of Bulgaria is the Guardian Angel project. FIB has been working closely with Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF). First Investment Bank approached NZ Mint to assist in producing the Guardian Angel project which has been designed to support children who are victims of domestic violence in the two biggest Bulgarian cities, Sofia and Varna. The program will fund school teacher's education and assist in helping them to detect such children to help them not only to find a most appropriate help and also to protect them from further violence and assist in giving them back the joy of life.

With stories, quotes and pertinent facts from the archives of the Royal Geographical Society (sponsors of the 1953 British led exhibition climb) as told by Sir Edmund Hillary, this captivating piece documents in words and pictures the feat of these great men.
